ABOUT
Alex Button is a Sound Designer and Mixer born, raised, and currently living in Los Angeles, CA. She works full time as a Sound Designer/Production Specialist at Spotify, working on many successful podcasts such as Serial Killers, Disappearances, Horoscope Today, and many others.
Like many audio professionals, her passion for audio started as a musician, playing both string bass and tuba. She attended the University of Southern California, majoring in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Digital Signal Processing and minoring in Music Technology. This educational track expanded her knowledge and passion for sound. After graduating, she worked in audio software and codecs before joining Spotify.
In her free time, Alex enjoys spending time with her goofy dog, hiking, playing roller derby, and, believe it or not, listening to podcasts.
